Greg Carender

Chief Operating Officer

Greg Carender serves as the Chief Operating Officer at DC BLOX, overseeing Data Center Engineering, Construction, Network Operations, Hyperscale Programs, Purchasing, Data Center Operations, Fiber Development, IT, and Security.

With a wealth of global experience in data center development, construction, operations, and strategic planning, Greg brings a strong leadership background to DC BLOX. Before joining the company, he was the COO at AdaniConneX, a joint venture between Adani Group and EdgeConneX. There, he helped lead a team of 300+ people in developing hyperscale data centers across India, while supporting the development of hundreds of MWs with one of the world’s largest green energy infrastructure providers. Prior to his role at AdaniConneX Greg was the SVP of Global PMO for EdgeConneX where he led the company’s data center development across the U.S., Europe, South America, and Asia.

Earlier in his career, Greg spent 20 years in construction management and consulting with PwC, overseeing large-scale projects in the commercial, hospitality, multi-family, mixed-use, telecom, and nuclear sectors, while driving supply chain and business process improvements.

Greg holds several industry certifications, is a Fellow with the American Institute of Constructors, and is a graduate of Purdue University. Greg resides in Canton, Georgia, with his family.
